Intento published the State of Translation Automation 2026
Intento published an interactive report evaluating 229 AI translation solutions built from 57 models by 37 providers, targeting 100 languages against Basic, Standard, and Advanced requirements. The report, published around October 15–16, 2026 and updated October 17, says that higher requirements reduce the number of languages with a viable single-step solution (Basic 54 → Standard 38 → Advanced approximately 12–13). It also reports that multistep LLM workflows improve compliance with requirements and that real-time translation involves a quality trade-off.
